The Przewalski's Horse population has been increasing over the last few years because of natural selection. The horses with sharp hooves made for digging holes to find water in the hard desert ground have survived to live and reproduce. Another trait that would help them survive in the wild is shorter fur because it is hotter in the desert than any other environment. I believe that the population will continue to increase for sometime until they are taken off the endagered spiecies list and the protections surrounding them are removed. They then become a prime target for predators because there are so many of them. The ecosystem will benifit from the reintroduction a spieces that has been out of commission for some time.
